1. QuickHemi Plug and Play Harness - Woohoo! We got a new shipment of supplies in and are back at building out Quick Hemi Harnesses for our pre-orders again! We should be getting the rest of our pre-orders wrapped up this month and getting them quality checked and sent out end of April/early May.  The remainder will be stocked on the shelves starting next month and ready to ship out from that point on.  Thanks for the patience! You won't be disappointed!

2.  T-Shirts  We've got a new shipment of T-shirts in and in some new colors! Please show your support for us and if we've ever helped you out any, grab a shirt for us! Thanks so much guys!

3. The Low Buck Hemi Truck Our poor D150 is sitting in the rain as we speak.  At least the engine is in it, but we've got so much going on it's got to sit idle while we are working on a customer's '72 Barracuda (Project: Pink Punisher)

4. Project Pink Punisher - Video just posted on our YouTube! This will be our new project build where we put a 6.1L into a 1972 Plymouth Barracuda.  Check us out as we swap out the old 340 and keep the 727 AT.  This thing is going to be a fun ride when we get through with it.  We are detailing the entire build on our YouTube channel so stay tuned. See it all HERE.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Where can I purchase DIYHEMI.com products? Click here for our Swap Shop.

  • Where is the best place to ask questions and get support for my Hemi Swap?  Our Hemi Swap Community is an active hang out where we and other Hemi-Swappers engage to help find solutions for many hemi swap situations.

  • What makes/models do you support? Our products are designed to retrofit any 2003+ Gen III/IV Hemi engine into your vintage project. Late model vehicle swaps are not supported at this time.

  • Do you offer support on hemi swaps into newer vehicles?  We currently do not support swaps into later model vehicles (1990 and up).  We can help get the hemi engine wired and hooked up but these vehicles were set up with electronic controls that are much more complex than older vehicles.  Accessories like gauges, AC, cruise control, etc may require Can Bus which is not currently serviceable by us.

  • Do you offer complete wiring harnesses? Not at this time. Our current wiring harnesses are our QuickHemi series. They require that you use the factory engine harness for your application. The QuickHemi simply allows the factory harness to work in standalone configuration.

  • Do you perform Hemi swaps in house? We do perform engine swaps for R&D purposes. The knowledge gained is shared with the GenIII swap community and new products are developed this way. We do not do routine installations at this time but will in the future.

  • What is the lowest cost GenIII swap engine to use? Mostly the 2003-2008 truck 5.7. They are very low cost and can run off a standard US based 2005 Dodge Ram ECM. These are the shoestring budget swaps that really pack punch with little upfront cost. Any Hemi is an excellent choice, prices may vary.
