Hello everyone, I'm new to the community and hoping to find a little advice . Ive got an 03 Ram 1500 slt quad cab that came originally equipped with a 4.7. I swapped it out with a 5.7 along with the engine harness and ecm/pcm from an 03 Ram 2500 4wd . I changed out the engine mounts and bolted up the transmission from the 4.7. Also went to the junkyard and got the bellcrank/tpps and installed it as well as all new coils and spark plugs and exhaust manifold gaskets. I thought I was ready to take off smoking the tires on the way to cut a couple of donuts in the field but just my luck, the engine turns over but won't start. I pulled the fuel line off and turned the key on, it sprayed fuel halfway across the yard, it doesn't seem to be firing. the truck didn't come equipped with an immobilizer so i thought maybe the donor truck(which I don't have access to) did, so i went back to the junkyard for an immobilizer ring thinking maybe the ecm was looking for a signal that wasn't being broadcast. i thought maybe i could put on an immobilizer ring and get a transponder key programmed to it, but that idea fell apart when I couldn't find any wires to plug into thering. I plugged in a bidirectional scanner which told me that the vin numbers werent matching up. so i changed the vin on the ecm to match the truck changing the engine code digit from an N to a D. which the scanner said was invalid so I changed it to match the vin exactly which it accepted. still wont start. i did noticein the live data that the scanner said the crank and camshafts were out of sync but its not throwing a code for that. if anyone has any helpful knowledge they could drop on me it would be greatly appreciated. I'm out of ideas and have to much money and way to much time invested to just walk away from it. Thank you in advance to anyone that that can tell what im missing.

The 2500 that year did not have security or skim. So that is probably not an issue. The 03 ram harness and ECM is not a good one to run. I would highly recommend going to a 2005 year model
