i have an 05 ram came with a 4.7 what do i need to know to swap the hemi. i know i need the wiring harness and computer, but do i need the throttle pedal and steering wheel from the donor truck as well? thanks for the help guys

I will for sure document my journey for the upgrade and the painful process of getting it SMOGed in CA. My guess is I will have to flash the stock 4.7 ECM to run the 5.7? That way I can keep the VIN and other truck specific data in the ECM. I am guessing I will need an early 5.7 to pull this off or a truck engine for sure least right?

Yes you will need all those things. Probably a full donor truck. We don’t really specialize in the newer vehicle swaps, but would love to learn and follow along with you here if you took on the project
