I have an engine, harness and pcm from a 2005 ram 1500 with a hemi and 545rfe. is it possible to use this pcm for a use with a tremec 5 speed? Also how can i go about tuning changes for a cam swap and longtube headers? Will a diablosport be able to modify this stuff? Or something i have to send the pcm off for?

COMMUNITY
Welcome to the Hemi Swap Community! We want this to be an open forum where anyone can ask anything about the Hemi engine and doing Hemi Swaps. We find the information can be scattered all over the internet and want this to be a centralized place where we can talk amongst each other and share our questions and answers that may be able to help others going through similar Hemi swap situations. Please be kind to others and help out where you can while getting the information you need. Blake and Mike will be admins and answering questions here as well!

All you need is the original harness and ECM for that 2005 truck and our quick harness and you are done
Do I need anything specific to use the at computer? Then the ecm, engine harness, your diyhemi harness as well as the engine with all appropriate sensors are all that's needed to make everything run. I don't have any specific tuner in mind yet. So, HP tuner would be a viable option. Sorry the whole swap with a modern engine is new to me. We were looking into a Holley terminator x, but it's much more than what we need for a lightly cammed cruiser. done a few magnum engine swaps and Cummins swaps but never a hemi or ls.
Yes you can use that ECM for a tremendous 5 speed no problem. Diablosport with a custom tune will work if you have a tuner in your area. Otherwise use HP Tuners
