Looking at swapping a 12 5.7 Hemi from a 2WD 1500 Ram into a 02 Jeep TJ. I currently have the engine, 65RFE transmission (tail shaft has been converted over for the transfer case), PCM, harness, and a bunch of misc parts. After talking with Mike, I know see that I will not be incorporating my existing TJ harness into the hemi harness. This clears a lot of items up regarding passing emissions. Build date is expected at the end of the year.
Onto Questions: These are mostly outside of getting the engine running.
But what is the best way to connect Can bus gauges, or is there a better way to go?
Is there any other perimeters that they will look for during emissions outside of what they PCM reports such as not seeing fuel level?
So I was driving my truck today ( 2012 Ram 1500 and same engine / transmission as my swap) and realized it would be nice to have the electronic shift selector working when I swap it into the Jeep. Is there anyway to connect this to say a momentary two way rocker switch? I often pull a offroad camping trailer and selecting a specific gear comes in handy.

If it’s a street Vehicle, we adjust the calibration to make it run in your vehicle but do not bypass any emissions or federally regulated components. We do remove any non engine related checksums. An OBD port can be added if desired, it requires the use of a star connector
Thanks
Few more questions:
When we send in the PCM to remove the skim, do you remove any non engine related perimeters?
Can you add a second OBD2 port? One to run Can-bus gauges and one for diagnostics?
Hi! Welcome to the forum! The 2002 TJ should have analog gauges, the 2012 truck has canbus gauges. What you would need to do is buy a canbus adapter from a business like dakota digital, it will convert the 2012 canbus signal to analog outputs and run your factory gauges
