Starter
I have installed a 2005 5.7 Hemi in my street rod and completed my stand alone DIY harness as instructed.
I want to spin the motor to add all fluids (PS,Auto, Radiator ,ETC) but not start so I have yet to put fuel in.
I have a battery power shut of.
I turn the battery power shut off on.
I turn my key to on then to start.
My starter turns and rotates the motor fine.
When I return my key back to run or in the off position my starter continues to spin.
Only way to stop the starter is with the battery shut of switch.
Will the computer solve this once fuel is added????
Routing, not tying, sorry
No, you should only use the starter wires in the QuickHemi harness. If you want to have a neutral safety incorporated, have it supply the ground to the starter relay by cutting the ground on the relay and tying it to your neutral safety switch
Get a test light and check your W13 wire it should only get voltage positive while cranking. It looking like your ignition switch may be the problem
