I have a fully built 6.1 and would love to just dump it into my 2014 Charger. I'm aware that I'll probably have to change the crank reluctor wheel, but will the rest of sensors carry over just fine? Is it just in the tune?

Welcome to the Hemi Swap Community! We want this to be an open forum where anyone can ask anything about the Hemi engine and doing Hemi Swaps. We find the information can be scattered all over the internet and want this to be a centralized place where we can talk amongst each other and share our questions and answers that may be able to help others going through similar Hemi swap situations. Please be kind to others and help out where you can while getting the information you need. Blake and Mike will be admins and answering questions here as well!

It will require a few things, but possible 1. Change the reluctor wheel on the crank and associated sensor to the 2013 + style 2. Use the 2014 engine harness, changing any sensor that is different (oil pressure, coolant temp) 3. Use a 2013 up throttle body (better performance and is pinned slightly different than the 6.1 throttle body) 4) tune out VVT and MDS on the 2014 ECM 5) tune the entire setup to your 6.1 build specifications
I compared the camshaft sensors between my 2006 6.1 and 2014 5.7 Charger. Looks like they're physically interchangeable (other than the plug). Both have the same mount, o-ring diameter, and length (2.5" approx). Pic shows early sensor on the left.
It looks like most of sensors can be used from the 2014. I'm unsure about the crank and cam sensors until I can measure and test fit them. I created a reference sheet for the sensors that may be of some help to others.
