I've had a crate 6.4L installed in a '68 Dofge Charger since 2015 and all was working well. I used the Mopar Performance engine only harness. I went out one day and suddenly the accellerator pedal didn't work. The DTC codes were P2127 and P2122 for D and E sensor voltage. I bought a new pedal, plugged it in, cleared the codes, relearned and still nothing. I've checked 5 volt references, grounds, etc. and still no pedal. I swapped out the throttle body and that didn't help. I've cleaned and reattached the harness grounds and still nothing. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

HEMI SWAP
COMMUNITY
Welcome to the Hemi Swap Community! We want this to be an open forum where anyone can ask anything about the Hemi engine and doing Hemi Swaps. We find the information can be scattered all over the internet and want this to be a centralized place where we can talk amongst each other and share our questions and answers that may be able to help others going through similar Hemi swap situations. Please be kind to others and help out where you can while getting the information you need. Blake and Mike will be admins and answering questions here as well!

Well I finallly found the right technician, with the right equipment, who was willing to come to my house. Within 30 minutes he had the pedal working again. I had forgotten that, just prior to the problem, I had inadvertently drained the battery by leaving the key in the on position. The technician could "see" that the pedal was communicating with the PCM/ECU but it needed to be relearned. Apparently the extreme drain on the battery casued the pedal to lose it's memory. In such an instance the manual relearn does not work and has to be performed with a scanner. It was great to hear the engine rev again!
The technician said that with swaps there are potentially a multitude of progrmming issues to make systems work well together. Complicated stuff so hopefully this solution will be helpful to others with similar issues.
I did an 06 5.7 swap in a 69 Plymouth and had a myriad of issues with the pedal..
I have no idea why, but if the pcm loses all power I have to hook up the hp tuner and re-enable the ETC.. I'll have to look and verify what tab it was under, but my issues could not be fixed without use of tuning software.
