I just came upon a 1973 Cuda, all intact except no motor or transmission. It originally came with a 340 but was swapped to a 383. I am considering a restomod with a 5.7 Hemi. I have a few questions.
1) Do I need to change the k-member and go to coil overs if I want to use exhaust manifolds instead of headers? Will they even fit? My understanding is only certain headers fit with the stock k-member.
2)I want to add air conditioning to the car (it did not come with it), whats my best option (kit) that will work with the 5.7? Do I use the compressor that comes with the kit or the 5.7?
3)Is the smaller size steering box a must?
4)Best options for automatic transmission? I would like overdrive.
